Urgent appointments
1. Via an online submission
The fastest way is via an online submission using the link found on our homepage via SystemConnect. Please note that you do not need to ring the practice after the submission as this will be triaged as soon as possible and an update communicated to you)
2. Via the reception desk
If you are unable to submit an online request you can visit the surgery and speak to the kind receptionists at the front desk. Please note that you will be asked to complete a paper form which needs to be clear and contain information regarding your symptoms. Due to confidentiality risks, we are unable to fill this out for you as we do not want other patients to hear your requirements.
3. Via telephone
Another route of requesting an appointment if you are unable to submit an online request. However, due to the high volume of phone calls into the practice we receive, this is the slowest method of contact as often we have high waiting times. Whilst we do have a call-back feature where possible we as you submit an online submission
As all 3 routes for appointment requests go through our SystemConnect triage platform, priorities for certain conditions and symptoms will aid our clinicians to triage appropriately and in a timely manner. We aim to respond to every submission received wherever that is a request for more information, a request for photos, to confirm an appointment or the next steps and timeframe. This is a national push for online submissions that NHSE request as of the 1st October 2025.
The benefit of this system means we are getting the information that we require to ensure you see the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
