If your child is unwell – ring the surgery on 01425 272 203 or attend children’s walk in surgery 4.00 pm to 4.30 pm weekdays.
Outside these times please use the out of hours service NHS 111
The Health Visitor and the doctors offer regular checks of your child’s development from birth until starting at school. This provides an ideal opportunity to discuss any worries or queries you might have.
The Practice would expect that all children will receive their childhood immunisations unless there is a specific medical reason not to do so.
Health Visitor Clinics
They are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at St Luke’s Church Hall, Salisbury Road, Burton between 1.00 and 2.30 pm and the 4th Wednesday of each month St Mark’s Church Hall, Hinton Wood Avenue, Highcliffe.
This is open to everyone, no appointment needed. The Health Visitor will be able to discuss with you any concerns you have about your child’s sleep, behaviour, diet, immunisations etc.
Community Child Health Clinic
At Somerford Childrens Centre – every Thursday 9.30 to 11.15 am and at Christchurch Childrens Centre – every Friday 10.15 to 11.30 am.
